Fans left in awe after Jimin's merch sell out within a second

BTS Jimin is called the sold-out king for a reason, and fans have had a new taste of this with his artist-made collection of merchandise.

On the 16th of January, after the photos of Jimin's merch were released, his artist-made collection show hosted by member Jungkook and featuring members Jin and Namjoon was released, whereby Jimin presented and talked about his products. In the interview, Jimin said that he chose the hoody because he wanted something that he and fans could share daily and earrings because he loves wearing accessories. The WITH YOU hoody was designed without pockets to give it a clean look. It was fit just right with long arms and a big hood with lots of space to make it feel like the face was being eaten in it, and this was in order for it to have enough space around the neck and to ensure that it does not brush off your makeup.

Jimin made his hoodie weather-friendly, meaning that it would be warm and not get too hot wearing by adding fleece which is synthetic fiber from polyester, so that it could be comfortable, lightweight, and antiperspirant. He customized the hoody with the number 13 on the drawstrings as a nod to his band's debut date and his birthdate, which is also tattooed on his wrist. Jimin added a SEVEN WITH YOU, and YOU NEVER WALK ALONE creatively to the hoody in order to make it something special between ARMY and BTS, even if the logo wasn't there. 

His earrings also had the number 13 engraved at the back, and he used Burgundy, a favorite color of his, for the curving part adding a unique and beautiful accent to the 925 silver, which is a mix of copper and silver, making it stronger and protective to sensitive skin.

On the 17th, through the making log, review, and sampling film, fans got a closer look at how Jimin chose the colors, materials, designs, sizing, and the thought process that went into making the merchandise, and fans were impressed by how considerate Jimin was of every factor and even how the hoody would look when worn by women. At the end of the presentation, Jimin mentioned that although he customized the merchandise in order to showcase his personality, everything was made with the consideration of the fans, and he hoped that they would enjoy it and also have fun while wearing it.

The fans who loved the product did not disappoint, and as soon as the merchandise was released, fans who had been waiting to get their hands on it made it sell out within seconds of release. While this was expected and even predicted by fans and media outlets worldwide. The fact that it sold out in a second meant that Jimin was the first and only individual to have his clothing and jewelry sell out in less than a second. Many were surprised to see that it seemed to have been sold out way before it was officially put on sale, but some explained that as soon as it was put on sale once you refreshed to complete the purchase, it was gone due to the high demand and speed of lightning purchasing power of some fans.

While it might seem like a miracle and that no one could have gotten the product or maybe it was a glitch, believe it or not, there are fans who showed proof of being able to purchase Jimin's merchandise, and they indeed were the envy of everyone. Now there are fans asking for HYBE Merch to restock the products as they express disappointment in not being able to buy their favorite merchandise since it sold out in the blink of an eye. 

As a consequence of Jimin's merch release and the speed at which they sold out, the keywords SOLD OUT, Paypal, jimins, DESIGNED BY JIMIN, #BY_JIMIN, Hoodie, Weverse, #BTSJIMIN, Hybe, LOVE YOU JIMIN #ParkJimin and more trended worldwide and in South Korea, their equivalents also took top spots on trends as fans debated on the sold-out phenomenon and items which they got and what they did not get.

From FILA, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, and more. Jimin is showing his caliber as the Brand and Sold out King because this is not the first time that the items he has worn or endorsed have sold out quickly. Jimin is the only idol to top the brand reputation rankings for three years and remain in the top three for 41 months, he has topped the Gallup preference survey for two years, and he has been given the title of Korea's Frontman and It Boy for his impact worldwide in the promotion of its music, food, culture, clothing and more.
