Lee Saerom, former leader of the girl group fromis_9, has officially signed with 333, embarking on a new chapter as an actress.
The agency 333 confirmed the news on October 21, stating,
“We’ve signed an exclusive contract with Lee Saerom, who is beginning her solo career as an actress. We plan to fully support her so that she can continue to grow and explore a wide range of roles across various platforms.”
Lee Saerom made her debut in 2018 through Mnet’s idol survival show 'Idol School', where she earned a spot in fromis_9 and became the group’s captain (leader). She was loved by fans for her bright and uplifting energy, and stood out in both music promotions and variety appearances with her easy charm and versatility.
Now taking her first steps as a full-time actress, Lee is poised to showcase new sides of herself that she didn’t have the opportunity to explore as an idol. Acting has long been a dream of hers since childhood, and her transition is being met with much anticipation.
Lee Saerom recently starred in the TVING short-form web drama “Living with a Chaebol Only I Can See”, playing the role of Jung Ji-an, a woman who has been able to see ghosts since childhood. Her natural and stable performance received praise for revealing her potential in front of the camera, making her acting debut a successful one.
With this strong start, her new journey with 333 is expected to further accelerate her growth in the acting field.
333 is a boutique talent management company representing actors including Son Ho Joon and Yoo Seung Ho. The agency’s name symbolizes wholeness and unity—“the first complete number formed by a group of individuals,” and a vision of mutual growth where “your gaze meets our time, and everyone’s dreams begin together.”
Lee Saerom’s new partnership with 333 hints at a thoughtful, strategic approach to her acting career, with fans eager to see how she continues to evolve.
