Lim YoonA has once again proven her global influence.
On October 18th KST, YoonA held a drama-themed fan meeting titled 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty YOONA DRAMA FANMEETING' at Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, creating another unforgettable memory with her fans.
The event was held in celebration of her recent tvN weekend drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty', in which YoonA played Yeon Ji Young, a passionate French chef. Her entrance alone sparked enthusiastic cheers, reaffirming her presence as a “Global Queen.”
YoonA candidly answered a variety of questions from fans, sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes stories—from preparing for the role to filming anecdotes and insights into her character. These heartfelt moments offered fans a unique glimpse they could only hear at the fan meeting.
One of the highlights was YoonA’s live performance of the drama’s OST “Through Time, To You”, delivered in her soft and emotional voice, which touched the entire venue. She also added a playful twist by preparing a Vietnamese-style fruit shaved ice dessert on stage and gifting it to one lucky fan, creating a memorable and interactive experience.
In response, fans showed their love by attending in themed costumes—ranging from chef uniforms and traditional hanbok to signature outfits worn by her character in the drama. They also organized a special slogan event, holding up signs that read: “To YoonA we adore—if you’re reading this, always remember to be happy.”
YoonA expressed her sincere thanks, saying,
“It’s been a while since I came to Vietnam. I’m so grateful for the love and support that brought us together today.”
She added, “I’ll continue working hard on various projects, so please keep supporting me, and I promise to come back to greet you again.”
The event ended with a warm performance of her solo track “Spring of Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway (Feat. 10cm)”, leaving fans with lasting emotions.
Meanwhile, Bon Appetit, Your Majesty wrapped up with strong viewership ratings—17.4% in the Seoul metropolitan area (peaking at 20%) and 17.1% nationwide (peaking at 19.4%), according to Nielsen Korea. The drama also ranked No.1 for two consecutive weeks on Netflix’s Global TOP10 TV (Non-English) category, garnering enthusiastic reactions both domestically and internationally.
Following successful fan meetings in Yokohama, Macau, and Ho Chi Minh City, YoonA is set to continue her tour in Taipei on November 23rd and in Bangkok on December 13th, sharing the lingering emotion of the drama with fans throughout the end of the year.
