Yoo Yeon Seok’s agency, King Kong by Starship, has issued a strong warning against ongoing privacy violations by some fans, stating that legal action will be taken against such behavior.
In an official statement released on October 20th KST, the agency said,
“Recently, there have been continued instances of fans violating the artist’s privacy by visiting their residence or private spaces without permission, or by sending packages and letters directly to unauthorized locations.”
The agency emphasized its position, warning,
“Any intrusion into the artist’s private residence, unauthorized visits to personal spaces, stalking of unofficial schedules, or leaking of personal information will be met with strict legal measures.”
King Kong by Starship also provided an official mailing address for gifts and fan letters, adding that
“Any items delivered to unauthorized locations may be returned or discarded.”
They concluded the statement by expressing gratitude to genuine fans:
“We sincerely thank the fans who continue to support Yoo Yeon Seok. We ask for your cooperation in respecting the artist’s privacy and ensuring their safety. We will continue doing our utmost to protect our artists.”
Earlier, fellow agency actor Lee Dong Wook was also reported to have suffered from similar privacy breaches. On October 14th, King Kong by Starship stated:
“Attempting to obtain flight information through improper means or boarding the same flight as the artist to approach them during international schedules or personal travel is a serious invasion of privacy and will be subject to legal action.”
They further warned:
“These actions constitute clear violations of the law. We once again urge fans to respect and protect the safety and rights of our artists.”
