VVUP is launching a bold new chapter with the release of “House Party,” a pre-release track from their upcoming first mini album, set to drop in November. The single will be unveiled on October 22 at 6 PM KST via major streaming platforms, followed by the group’s debut showcase at 8 PM KST at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul.

VVUP — comprised of Kim, Faye, Suyeon, and Jiyun — has already made waves on the global K-pop scene with previous singles such as "Doo Doom Chit", "Locked On", "Ain’t Nobody", and "Giddy Boy". Their debut single Locked On charted on both U.S. and U.K. iTunes K-pop charts, and the group has graced major stages including KCON in both Hong Kong and Japan — a rare feat for rookie idols.

Now, VVUP is undergoing a full rebranding — not just visually, but conceptually — signaling the start of a brand-new narrative. With sharper musical direction, elevated visuals, and refreshed identity, the group aims to capitalize on their early global traction and solidify their status as next-gen performers.

VVUP’s teaser content for House Party reveals a striking blend of Korean folklore and modern cyber-club aesthetics. Featuring references to tigers and dokkaebi (Korean goblins) — iconic figures in traditional mythology — the visuals reimagine these cultural motifs through a bold, contemporary lens.

Styled with traditional hair buns (올림머리), ornamental norigae accessories, and paired with tooth gems and pop-styled nail art, VVUP delivers a high-impact look that’s both kitschy and hip, capturing global attention across social media.

Musically, “House Party” is a sleek electronic track that blends shimmering synths with bouncy house beats, radiating a neon-lit, cyber-club energy. The standout feature is its irresistibly catchy chorus, crafted for maximum replay value and dancefloor appeal.

The accompanying music video — set against the backdrop of a traditional Korean hanok — depicts VVUP hosting a surreal, high-energy party where everyone wears “filters,” adding a layer of commentary on digital identity and escapism. Their performance merges elegant choreography with unfiltered charisma, further reinforcing the group’s redefined image.

VVUP will host their first official showcase later that evening, inviting fans to celebrate this pivotal comeback. The event will also be live-streamed via their official YouTube channel, giving international fans front-row access to the group’s new direction.

As the group prepares to drop their first mini album in November, "House Party" serves as a high-concept introduction — one that promises a fusion of folklore, fashion, and futuristic flair.
