Annie, a member of Allday Project, has been announced as the new MC for the '2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon', replacing Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, who held the position for the past 10 years. The news was confirmed on October 21 KST by her agency, The Black Label, drawing intense public attention.
With this appointment, Annie steps into a major spotlight, taking over from YoonA, who was widely praised for her elegant and stable hosting skills. Despite juggling idol and acting careers, YoonA anchored the year-end music show for a decade, raising expectations and curiosity over who would be chosen as her successor.
However, reactions to Annie’s selection are mixed.
