Veteran solo singer Baek Ji Young (49) has shared her thoughts on maintaining her appearance.
On October 19, a video titled 'The kalguksu restaurant of Baek Ji Young ♥ Jung Suk Won, where both noodles and broth taste insanely good' was uploaded to Baek Ji Young’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Baek Ji Young visited a well-known restaurant alone, appearing a bit awkward without her husband Jung Suk Won, who had joined her in previous shoots.
However, it turned out Jung Suk Won had teamed up with the production crew to surprise her. During a phone call, Baek Ji Young was taken aback when Jung Suk Won suddenly appeared, bursting into laughter at the unexpected reunion.
While they were eating, Jung Suk Won commented, "Your face used to look a bit dull, but it seems brighter again now."
Baek Ji Young responded, "I switched all my skincare products to a radiance-focused line." Jung Suk Won agreed, noting that the blemishes on her face appeared lighter.
Continuing their conversation, Baek Ji Young said, "These days, I’m really focused on anti-aging care. Does it show?"
At that moment, the production staff mentioned that instead of saying 'anti-aging,' people nowadays prefer the term 'slow aging.'
Baek Ji Young replied, "Ah, slow aging? You can’t stop getting older. You can’t turn back time. So, I’m just trying to let my skin and health age as healthily as possible."
She added, "It’s not about getting fast results through dermatology treatments or facelifting procedures. It’s about maintaining healthy daily habits to take care of yourself."
In other news, Baek Ji Young recently stepped down as the main host of 'Mr. House Husband,' sharing her farewell message during the October 18 broadcast. She expressed, "As a singer, I’ll make sure to meet you more often with good songs and performances."
