Netflix revealed it will be broadcasting a documentary about the atrocities of Jo Joo Bin (Baksa), the one behind the sexual exploitation of the Nth Telegram chatrooms.

On April 20th, Netflix announced that it had produced a documentary, ‘Cyber Hell: Destroy the Nth Chatroom,’ a documentary that explores the reality of the ‘Nth Chatroom’ incident.

‘Cyber Hell: Destroy the Nth Chatroom’ is a cybercrime tracking documentary that uncovers the reality of the crime through interviews with 24 individuals, including reporters, producers, and police officers who faced the 'Nth Room' case.

The perpetrators of the Nth Room case create their own space in cyberspace with guaranteed anonymity. And in that space, they committed atrocious crimes such as threats through hacking, illegal transactions using cryptocurrency, gang harassment, and exploitation under the mask of anonymous ID. They created a new type of crime that had never been imagined.

The perpetrators ridiculed the investigative authorities, thinking that they would never be caught, and committed abusive-level cyber-sex crimes against underage victims.

In fact, in the trailer for 'Cyber Hell: Destroy Room N,' reporters, PDs, and the police who were digging up the Nth Room case expressed how baffled they were by the criminals' brazen actions saying, "Will there ever be a case where criminals will talk to us first?", "They, 100%, believed they won't be caught."

Director Choi Jin Seong, who made ‘Cyber Hell: Destroy the Nth Chatroom,’ said, “Any Korean audience will know a little bit about the incident of the Nth Telegram Chatroom. However, after watching this documentary, I think they will feel that the reality of the event they knew is only the tip of the iceberg.”

The director added, "Their criminal methods were far more complex and sophisticated than we know. The chase for the criminals, in this case, was also much fiercer and heated than we know.” The director explained that the documentary will depict how fierce those who were chasing the criminals of the 'Nth Chatroom' fought in catching them.

‘Cyber Hell: Destroy the Nth Chatroom,’ which deals with the terrible cybersex crimes of Jo Joo Bin, will be released on May 18th.

I’ll definitely watch I love crime documentaries. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like the criminals talked this way because from what I’ve heard, lSouth Korea has really lenient laws for most crimes and it’s really hard to convict anyone. I see this issue being a part of the plot in a lot of kdramas as well.
