JYP Entertainment, the agency representing Stray Kids, has announced strong legal measures against malicious commenters and rumor spreaders.
On August 19th KST, the company stated, “We have filed a criminal complaint after collecting evidence of defamatory posts and comments—including the spread of false information and malicious slander—that have harmed the reputation of our artists on domestic and international online communities and social media platforms.”
The agency continued, “We will fully cooperate with law enforcement and pursue strict civil and criminal legal actions. There will be absolutely no leniency or settlements during the process.”
They further emphasized, “We will continue to monitor and respond sternly to any unlawful acts that infringe on the artists’ rights or interfere with their stable activities, including filing additional lawsuits or criminal charges as necessary.”
