Comedian and television host Yoo Jae Suk had viewers laughing when fellow entertainer Joo Woo Jae revealed the reason why Yoo never shows his luxurious home on broadcasts.
On the August 16 episode of MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo,' Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, Joo Woo Jae, Lee Yi Kyung, and Heo Kyung Hwan spent the day following recommendations given by an AI assistant. After enjoying a meal, the members asked the AI to suggest their next destination. The AI replied, “Since you have eaten well, you should move around. Take some nice photos while walking along scenic streets in Seoul, or enjoy budget-friendly shopping at a traditional market.”
When the cast added the condition of hot weather, the AI adjusted its suggestions. “If it is too hot, you can go to an arcade that Lee Yi Kyung likes, visit an indoor shopping mall, or simply hang out at Heo Kyung Hwan’s place with the air conditioner on full blast.”
Heo Kyung Hwan, caught off guard, protested, “Why are you talking about my house? Have you even been there?” Yoo Jae Suk jokingly explained, “The AI learns. Did your house not appear once on YouTube?” Still flustered, Heo asked again why the AI singled him out, to which the AI amusingly responded, “Your house just came to mind.”
Haha then suggested, “Isn’t Heo’s house the closest to the restaurant?” Yoo countered, “Actually, my house is the closest. But the thing is, the AI learns from exposure, and our houses have not been shown on broadcasts.”
At that moment, Joo Woo Jae chimed in with a witty remark. “That is because Jae Suk’s house would create discomfort,” he said, drawing laughter from everyone on set.
The comment follows a recent report on tvN’s 'Free Doctor M,' where it was revealed that Yoo Jae Suk purchased a luxury apartment in Nonhyeon-dong for 8.7 billion KRW (approximately 6.3 million USD). The new residence reportedly includes a 21-pyeong terrace, equivalent to about 69 square meters, and even features a resident butler within the complex, news that left many fans stunned.
