Kim Jong Kook recently announced his marriage, and now his fortune reading from earlier this year is gaining renewed attention.
Earlier this year, on the January 12 episode of SBS's 'Running Man,' the cast members had their New Year fortunes read. In particular, Kim Jong Kook's tarot reading has resurfaced from this episode following his marriage announcement.
During the episode, a tarot specialist told the singer, "This will be the year you finally overcome your marriage PTSD. Your love fortune will explode in the second half of this year."
The fortune teller further told him, "You'll buy a new home that feels right and meet a destined partner. Your romance luck is very strong, but you actually want to be the one who receives the confession."
In response, Kim Jong Kook admitted, "I've never confessed to anyone in my entire life!" The tarot reader then surprised everyone by saying, "Your romance fortune is concentrated in the second half of 2025. When there's no woman, there's none at all, but when they start to show up, two will appear at the same time."
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook announced his marriage through his official fan cafe, writing, "To my fans, who have believed in me, supported me, and stood by me for such a long time, I wanted to be the first to let you know. I’m getting married."
He added, "I know I’ve dropped little hints here and there, but I’m sure it still feels sudden to many of you. This year marks my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of making the album I wanted, I’ve created my other half. Please congratulate and support me. It may be late, but isn’t it fortunate that it’s happening now, at least? Right? I will do my best to live well. The wedding will be held soon, in a small and quiet ceremony with family, relatives, and a few close friends. Thanks to all of you who have been a great source of strength for such a long time, I am able to get married and take on a new challenge in life."
