Choi Jung Won, an actor and former member of the group UN, has denied recent allegations of stalking his girlfriend, stating that the claims are untrue and expressing his intent to pursue legal action.
On August 20th KST, Choi released an official statement through his personal social media account, writing, “The report released yesterday stems from a personal disagreement with my girlfriend. Emotions escalated, leading to misunderstandings and a distorted portrayal of the situation.”
He went on to clarify, “The phrase ‘girlfriend’s exposé’ is also inaccurate. The claims that I threatened her with a weapon or stalked her are completely false.” He further added that his girlfriend has also explicitly denied those allegations.
Choi emphasized his stance by stating, “I plan to take firm legal action against these false accusations.” He concluded with an apology, saying, “I sincerely apologize for causing discomfort with news stemming from a misunderstanding about my personal life.”
