ILLIT has landed the cover of the September issue of ELLE Korea, showcasing their ethereal charm reminiscent of fairytale heroines. The five members—Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha—radiate a dreamy aura that captures the eye.
On August 19th, ELLE unveiled the cover image via its official social media, a collaboration with high jewelry brand Damiani. The visuals are filled with an enchanting and sweet atmosphere. Dressed in flowing white outfits and styled with long, straight hair, the members perfectly embodied the concept. In five close-up solo shots, each member’s delicate visuals and piercing gazes left a strong impression.
In the accompanying interview, conducted alongside the photoshoot, the members shared, “We wanted to convey the message that ‘anyone can become a magical girl once they realize their potential’ through our third mini album ‘BOMB’. It seems many people resonated with that message and found comfort in it. We hope to continue making songs that give off positive energy.” They added, “Each of us is working hard toward bigger dreams. We’ll continue to give our best to present a well-synchronized and polished performance on stage.”
Meanwhile, ILLIT is set to make their official debut in Japan on September 1st with their first Japanese single ‘Toki Yo Tomare’ (original title: 時よ止まれ). They will follow up with their fan concert ‘2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN’, taking place on September 3–4 at Osaka-jo Hall. On September 14th, the group will appear at the major Japanese music event ‘ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025’, where they are expected to set the stage ablaze.
