BTS’s Jungkook once again showcased his unrivaled influence as the item he casually wore during a livestream sold out in record time.
On August 17 (KST), Jungkook appeared on a Weverse live broadcast titled 'Badada,' where he wore a black LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie layered over a gray sleeveless shirt. Soon after the livestream, the hoodie sold out in every size on the brand’s official store.
The World Music Awards official account reported, “During BTS’s Weverse Live, the LU’U DAN Washed Zip Hoodie Jungkook wore on the beach has already sold out in all sizes on the brand’s official website.”
Jungkook paired the hoodie with earrings and a lip piercing, completing a look that was effortlessly stylish and subtly sexy, leaving fans in awe of his fashion sense. International media outlet SK POP noted that fans quickly crowned him the "SOLD OUT KING" following the sell-out.
This is far from the first time Jungkook’s influence has impacted sales. Just last month, the mask he wore while departing for Los Angeles on July 31 also sold out temporarily. In addition, products featured in his livestreams, including a beer glass, scented candles, mugs, and even seaweed flakes, have flown off the shelves after he used them. Following his mukbang, the fried chicken brand he personally ordered from even shot up to rank first and sixth on food delivery app real time search charts.
Jungkook’s unmatched selling power continues to reaffirm his status as a true global trendsetter.
