Amid an ongoing police investigation into alleged illegal medical procedures involving several entertainers, new details have emerged regarding contact between the husband of the suspect known as “Injection Aunt” and Park Na Rae’s former manager.
According to a media report published on January 8, Park Na Rae’s former manager revealed that he had exchanged messages with the suspect’s husband, identified as Mr. A, during the course of the investigation. In the process, Mr. A reportedly stated that he had been unable to reach Park Na Rae, saying, “I haven’t been able to get in touch with her.”
The former manager raised the possibility that Mr. A may have been involved in the alleged proxy prescription and delivery of drugs between Park Na Rae and “Injection Aunt.” In particular, suspicions were raised that Mr. A personally delivered the substances. It was reported that the former manager did not explicitly deny this claim when explaining the situation.
“Injection Aunt” has been accused of performing illegal medical procedures on several public figures, including Park Na Rae, SHINee's Key, and YouTuber HAETNIM the short mouth. The individual has been reported to the police, and an investigation is currently underway. Authorities are also said to have conducted a search and seizure at the suspect’s residence last month.
Regarding Mr. A’s involvement, the former manager stated, “I met Mr. A several times in an intermediary capacity at broadcast station waiting rooms or at Park Na Rae’s home.” He added, “It happened about five to seven times, mostly around Sangam or at a house in Paju.”
After the controversy surfaced, Mr. A allegedly attempted to contact Park Na Rae’s former manager multiple times. According to the manager, Mr. A sent text messages asking, “Would it be possible to talk?” and “I want to at least hear things clearly. I’d like to meet and talk in person.”
Although an in-person meeting did not take place, the former manager claimed that during a phone call, Mr. A repeatedly asked, “What are we supposed to do now?” and “We didn’t do anything wrong to the manager, did we?” He also reportedly emphasized, “I haven’t been able to contact Park Na Rae at all for the past two days. She isn’t answering her phone.”
The former manager noted that Mr. A repeatedly stressed that all communication with Park Na Rae had completely ceased following the emergence of the case, drawing further attention as the investigation continues.
