Netflix series 'Squid Game Season 3' has earned a nomination at a major U.S. awards ceremony.
The Screen Actors Guild announced the nominees for the 32nd Actor Awards on January 8, unveiling candidates across 15 categories spanning film and television.
'Squid Game Season 3' was selected as a nominee for Outstanding Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series, placing it among a competitive lineup that includes Disney+’s 'Andor,' Paramount+’s 'Landman,' HBO’s 'The Last of Us,' and Netflix’s 'Stranger Things.'
The Actor Awards are presented by the Screen Actors Guild and are widely regarded as a key precursor to the Academy Awards. Beginning this year, the ceremony is officially referred to as the Actor Awards rather than the SAG Awards.
The Squid Game franchise has a strong history with the event. In 2022, Season 1 won major acting honors, with Lee Jung Jae taking home Best Actor and Jung Ho Yeon winning Best Actress.
Meanwhile, 'Squid Game Season 3' recently added another accolade to its record, winning Best Foreign Language Series in the TV category at the 31st Critics Choice Awards.
