
Netflix has brought on board a promising rising star cast for its new fantasy romance series, 'Beauty in the Beast' (working title).
Based off of a popular Kakao Page webtoon known as 'Beauty and the Beast', the drama follows college freshman named Min Soo, who can transform into a wolf. Since her childhood, she has been trained to adapt to human society and is now ready to enter the wild that is university. She then meets a gentle sunbae and a fellow werewolf.
Singer-turned-actress Kim Min Ju will play the role of Min Soo, while Moon Sang Min has been cast as the gentle and puppy-like Hae Joon. Lomon also joins the cast as Do Ha, a free-spirited fellow werewolf who finds Min Soo's rigid behavior around humans stifling.
The series will be produced by Jin Hyuk of 'The Tale of Lady Ok' and scripted by Jin Han Sae of 'Extracurricular'.
