Girl group LABOUM was named as one of the most popular groups in the military.

Broadcasted on January 16, ChosunTV's 'Idol Party' featured LABOUM and member Solbin where the singer discussed the group being featured in the military newspaper.

When the MCs asked, "We don't get why LABOUM is the prospect of 2017?" With that, the girls proudly replied, "We are the next generation's chief of the army.  We were listed third place in the military newspaper survey as the most missed people chosen by military men. First place was their parents, in second was their girlfriend."

While Leeteuk and Kim Jun Ho were suspicious by the girls' remark, they were taken aback when the unexpected results of the military newspaper survey were unveiled.  "During my military days, 4minute, Girl's Day, and A Pink were popular," added Leeteuk.

Meanwhile, the top-rated netizen comments on the article about this subject weren't so kind as they stated, "Who are you? Cha-boum? kekeke," "They'll [the army] take any woman," "But... I've never heard of them? kekeke," "They're nugus [nobodies] though," "Not TWICE, G-Friend, nor IOI, but LABOUM?," "In the army, they just like whoever visits them. In the real world, we like TWICE," and "Honestly, only B ranking girl groups go to the army...since they aren't able to give event fees like some college festivals... The problem is within the army they get all excited and stuff but once they return to society they lose interest...they have to continuously be able to make fans."

If my favs get that title then they're obviously amazing and popular, if a group I don't know gets the title than it's obviously unimportant and a scam = Knetz "logic." or should i call it Knetz double standards

Well of course you don't know Laboum if you keep living in your fave bubble without checking other artists out :) Just because you don't follow them, doesn't mean no one does, braindead conclusion

You'd be soooo proud if your popular idols won the title but you're bashing these pretty girls for what they achieved? Salty af.

That's so mean. For a group that isn't really recognized well, then putting them down when they finally achieved something, however small, is a really shitty thing to do.

Pretty much any girl group is popular at army bases.

Im sure Laboum know their not that big as other groups but to be rude to them is really unnecessary, army might not be able afford big groups so they invite others who are also good plus it good for them to get gigs and get money so yes they might be big in the army and there is nothing wrong with that so let them feel good
