We all know that drinking and driving is a bad idea, but somehow it continues to happen everywhere. In the latest news, a 22-year-old man was involved in a pretty bad accident while intoxicated and driving erratically in a car that belonged to his girlfriend's parents. The CCTV footage of the event, shown above, has gained over 100,000 views on YouTube as netizens clamor to see just how bad the damage was.
In the clip, a quiet street is shown. Out of nowhere, a black vehicle crashes into another, stationary, parked vehicle. Pedestrians and even a small, white puppy freak out at the scene, understandably shaken.
A netizen shared the above clip on an online community site on March 22 as well as pictures of the incident below. Claiming to be a witness at the site, they wrote, "After the accident, the driver came out of the car completely fine. From what I saw, he had drank and drove. Furthermore, he even said it wasn't even his car but his girlfriend's parent's car."
The netizen continued, "When the police arrived, the driver meekly admitted to drinking and went with the police. Let's never drink and drive ever."
Agreed. The consequences are just not worth it.
