MrBeast, the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber, has drawn global attention after responding to NewJeans fans’ calls for help regarding member Danielle.

On January 6 (KST), local outlet Empire reported via its official X (formerly Twitter) account that fans have been flooding MrBeast’s TikTok comment sections with requests to “help NewJeans.” In response, MrBeast left a brief but eye-catching reply, asking, “What do I need to do?”
Over the past week, NewJeans fans have posted numerous comments on MrBeast’s Instagram and TikTok accounts, including messages such as “Please buy HYBE” and “Save NewJeans.” The hashtag #mrbeastsavenewjeans has also gained traction online, amplifying the movement across global social media platforms.
The fan-led campaign follows the group’s prolonged legal dispute with their agency ADOR over the validity of their exclusive contracts. After approximately a year of legal proceedings, all members of NewJeans announced their intention to return to ADOR. However, the agency stated that no prior discussions had taken place regarding the return of Minji, Hanni, and Danielle, excluding Haerin and Hyein.
ADOR later clarified that Hanni has since agreed to return, while discussions with Minji are ongoing. Regarding Danielle, the agency confirmed that it has issued a notice terminating her exclusive contract.
As the group’s full-member comeback collapsed, fans escalated their actions by appealing to one of the world’s most influential public figures. It has also been reported that thousands of protest faxes opposing Danielle’s contract termination were sent to South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Meanwhile, ADOR stated that it plans to pursue legal responsibility against Danielle’s family member and former CEO Min Hee Jin, whom it claims bears significant responsibility for the dispute and the delays surrounding NewJeans’ return. The agency is reportedly proceeding with penalty and damages claims against Danielle herself.
The situation continues to draw widespread attention as fans, industry insiders, and global audiences closely watch how the conflict unfolds.
