Super Junior member and solo artist Kyuhyun is set to step down as an MC of tvN’s educational variety program 'Naked World History' after nearly five years.
On January 6, Kyuhyun will leave the program following its February broadcasts. His final appearance is scheduled to air on February 16, marking the end of his tenure that began in June 2021. Broadcaster Lee Hye Sung, who has co-hosted the show alongside Kyuhyun, will also be departing at the same time.
'Naked World History' is an infotainment program that explores historical events and landmarks from around the world, offering viewers in-depth perspectives on global history and culture that are often overlooked.
Kyuhyun has frequently expressed his affection for the program. During its 200th episode last year, he shared that world history had felt boring to him during his teenage years, but the show helped him realize how engaging the subject could be as an adult, adding that he enjoyed the sense of growing cultural knowledge with each episode.
Kyuhyun continues to remain active as a member of Super Junior while also pursuing his solo music career and various entertainment projects.
