ITZY member Yuna is preparing to step out as a solo artist.
On January 6, JYP Entertainment confirmed to Dispatch that Yuna is currently working on her solo debut album, adding that the exact release date has not yet been finalized.
The upcoming release will mark Yuna’s first solo venture since debuting with ITZY seven years ago. She will become the second member of the group to make a solo debut, following Yeji, and is expected to showcase a more differentiated musical identity through her solo activities.
Yuna is also expanding her presence beyond music. She is set to appear in the upcoming 'Undercover Miss Hong,' which premieres on January 17, and has additionally been cast in Favorite Employee, further signaling her growing activities as an actress.
Meanwhile, ITZY will continue group promotions as well. The group is scheduled to hold a solo concert in Seoul as part of their world tour, taking place from February 13 to 15 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu.
