The group of individuals who blackmailed Son Heung Min has been arrested.
On May 14, it was reported that a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s were arrested on charges of attempted extortion. According to the reports, the two individuals blackmailed Son Heung Min, demanding hundreds of millions of KRW, claiming that the woman was pregnant with Son Heung Min's child.
It was revealed that one of the extortionists began blackmailing Son Heung Min’s representatives last year, successfully obtaining more than 300 million KRW (about 214,889 USD). When the suspects demanded additional payments, Son Heung Min’s side ultimately filed a complaint with the police.
