K-pop duo Sevenus (MASC) is set for a lineup change as member Ireah departs from their current agency.
PCS Entertainment announced on March 11 via its official social media accounts, stating, “We would like to provide an update regarding Sevenus’ future activities. Ahead of the expiration of members’ contracts, we engaged in extensive discussions about the group’s direction and each member’s individual pursuits.”
The agency continued, “After thorough conversations, Heejae has decided to continue working with us, building on the trust developed over the years, and will participate in a variety of upcoming activities. Ireah has chosen to focus on personal musical challenges and will be pursuing a new direction.” Ireah’s contract is set to officially expire on April 30.
Despite Ireah’s departure, Sevenus will continue its group activities. PCS Entertainment emphasized, “Based on the strong trust among the members, Sevenus will remain active as a group, and future plans will be decided collaboratively with the members.”
The agency concluded, “We are grateful to continue our journey with Heejae and sincerely support Ireah’s new endeavors. We ask for continued interest and warm support for Sevenus.” Sevenus, who debuted as a duo after finishing as the runner-up on JTBC’s 'PEAK TIME,' has been actively promoting this year, releasing their first mini-album 'Spring Canvas' and holding solo concerts both domestically and internationally.
