
KBS’s late-night music talk show 'The Seasons' has officially confirmed the broadcast schedule for its upcoming season.
On March 11, KBS announced, “The ninth season of the KBS 2TV music talk show ‘The Seasons’ will premiere on March 27 under the title ‘The Seasons: Sung Si Kyung’s Earcandy Boyfriend.’”
Earlier, KBS released a teaser video that sparked curiosity about the new season’s title and drew a strong response from viewers. As one of the most beloved ballad singers in the Korean music scene, Sung Si Kyung has long been recognized for his distinctive voice and emotional delivery. The new season’s title directly reflects one of his well-known nicknames, “Earcandy Boyfriend."
Sung Si Kyung is expected to lead the program with the musical expertise he has built over many years, along with his extensive stage experience and witty speaking skills showcased through various broadcasts and content. As the original “Earcandy Boyfriend,” he will introduce new “Earcandy Boyfriends” and “Earcandy Girlfriends,” whose performances will take place every Friday night, offering viewers a special healing time that blends music and conversation.
'The Seasons' is KBS’s signature late-night music talk show that features a rotating lineup of MCs each season. Since its launch in 2023, the program has been hosted by artists including Jay Park, Choi Jung Hoon of Jannabi, Akdong Musician (AKMU), Lee Hyori, Zico of Block B, Lee Young Ji, Park Bo Gum, and 10cm.
The first recording of 'The Seasons: Sung Si Kyung’s Earcandy Boyfriend' will take place on March 17, and the show will premiere on March 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
