Group Seventeen recently held an honest discussion about the challenges surrounding their popular YouTube series 'Going Seventeen' and shared plans for a stronger comeback in 2026.
On March 11, Seventeen uploaded a special episode titled “2026 Going Emergency Meeting” to their official YouTube channel. In the video, the members gathered for a dinner meeting to look back on the content released throughout 2025 and openly discuss areas that fell short of expectations.
The members pointed to the “Leave Work Early” themed episodes as an example, noting that filming had felt rushed as their world tour schedule overlapped with upcoming military enlistments. As a result, several episodes were filmed in quick succession.

Member Seungkwan also noted that while the production team tried to make filming easier for the members, it may have unintentionally lowered the overall quality. He added that the members themselves should take more responsibility for bringing stronger energy to the show.

Seventeen reflected on how ‘Going Seventeen’ once gained widespread attention as the “Infinite Challenge of idol content,” known for its simple and easy to watch humor. The members admitted that recent episodes may have become too complex and could have caused viewer fatigue.
Looking ahead to 2026, the group hinted at more ambitious content ideas, including incorporating trending concepts and attempting more daring challenges.
Seventeen concluded the meeting by pledging to work harder, signaling a renewed determination to bring ‘Going Seventeen’ back stronger than ever.
