Seo Young Eun shared a heartfelt message via her social media account following the announcement of her departure from the girl group Kep1er. Her agencies, WAKEONE and KLAP Entertainment, had previously confirmed the news on March 6. In her post, she reflected on her journey since her debut in 2022, stating that the overwhelming love from fans allowed her to shine brighter on stage every moment and describing her memories as being “like a dream.”
Seo Young Eun expressed deep gratitude to both her fellow members and the fans, known as Kep1ian. She described the time spent with them as “a treasure that I would not trade for anything.” While her activities with the group have concluded, she revealed her intention to move forward as a soloist. “I am going to prepare to beautifully write the next chapter of my life as Seo Young Eun,” she wrote, promising to grow into someone her supporters can be proud of. She concluded her message by wishing fans health in both body and mind until they meet again.
Following her departure, Kep1er will reorganize and continue its activities as a six-member group. The remaining members include Choi Yu Jin, Xiaoting, Kim Chae Hyun, Kim Da Yeon, Hikaru, and Huening Bahiyyih. The group first gained global attention through the Mnet survival show 'Girls Planet 999' and has been active in the international music scene since its official debut in January 2022.

Hello, this is Seo Young Eun.
Since my debut in 2022, thanks to all the love and support you have given me, I was able to stand on stage every moment as a better and brighter version of myself. All of those memories feel like a dream to me.
Although my activities with the team have come to an end, every moment I spent with Kep1er and Kep1ian is a precious memory that I would never trade for anything.
From now on, I plan to prepare for the next chapter of my journey.
For everyone who has waited for me and continues to support me, I will grow even more and return as someone you can be proud of. Until the day we meet again, I hope you all stay healthy both physically and mentally.
