G-Dragon is opening a new chapter in K-pop artistry with his first global media exhibition tour, titled 'G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch'.
The tour is jointly produced by creative content studio CreativeMUT and global AI-based entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation, G-DRAGON’s agency. Kicking off in Shanghai, China, the exhibition aims to offer fans around the world an immersive and intimate encounter with the K-pop icon. Industry observers are watching closely, as it is rare for a K-pop media exhibition of this scale to go global.

On May 19, the exhibition’s official social media channels released the poster for the Shanghai stop, drawing significant attention. According to the announcement, the exhibition will run from May 30 to June 22 at Qiantan Taikoo Li, occupying both the 1st and 4th floors. This marks the first K-pop media exhibition ever held in China.
Located in the heart of Shanghai’s business district, Qiantan Taikoo Li is a massive shopping and lifestyle complex covering approximately 120,000 square meters. Popular among the MZ generation (Millennials and Gen Z), the venue surpasses the size of 'The Hyundai Seoul', which hosted the exhibition’s debut, underscoring G-DRAGON’s immense influence in China.

The exhibition is based on the philosophical theme of “Übermensch” from G-DRAGON’s upcoming third full-length album. Brought to life through cutting-edge digital media art, the event first premiered in March at 'The Hyundai Seoul' in Yeouido, attracting over 55,000 visitors in just 10 days. It was widely praised as a next-generation media art experience.
Now, with an even larger venue and upgraded production in Shanghai, expectations are high for a repeat cultural phenomenon.
The global tour will feature AI, real-time holograms, VR, and CG created using Unreal Engine, providing visitors with an immersive, multi-sensory experience. Highlights include a “concert in front of your eyes” through holograms and simulated meet-and-greet experiences with G-DRAGON via VR.
Adding to the visual spectacle, the daisy flower motif, a signature symbol of G-DRAGON, will fill the expansive, multi-level venue. The 7-meter-tall giant daisy that wowed fans in Seoul will also be on display in Shanghai.
Ticket reservations for the Shanghai exhibition open on May 25 at 2 PM KST via Alipay, Douyin, and other official platforms.
More information on the global tour, including future cities and dates, will be released through the exhibition’s official Instagram, X, and other SNS channels.
