"Drowning" by WOODZ has been crowned the most-listened-to song of 2025 by Melon users, according to the platform's '2025 Yearly Chart'.
Originally released in April of 2023 as a b-side from his 5th mini album 'OO-LI', "Drowning" went viral after WOODZ performed the song on a TV program while carrying out his mandatory military service in late 2024. The song then remained consistently on Melon's top charts throughout 2025, becoming the musician's biggest hit to date.
Right behind "Drowning", G-Dragon's "Home Sweet Home" (feat. Taeyang and Daesung) claimed the #2 spot on the '2025 Yearly Chart'. In fact, the Big Bang member landed a total of 5 songs in the top 100 on the same chart, a feat similarly shared only by three other teams - aespa, IVE, and DAY6.

Across their group and solo works, BLACKPINK also triumphed across the chart with Rosé's "APT." at #6, Jennie's "like JENNIE" at #11, "JUMP" at #27, and more.
Finally, a handful of new generation artists made their mark on the '2025 Yearly Chart', with BOYNEXTDOOR's "If I Say, I Love You" taking up an impressive spot at #12; ALLDAY PROJECT landing both "Famous" and "Wicked" at #23 and #74; BABYMONSTER's "Drip" coming in strong at #28; KiiiKiii scoring their first hit at #63 with "I Do Me"; Hearts2Hearts showcasing their rise with "The Chase" and "Style" at #81 and #89 respectively, etc.
