HYBE Labels is taking steps to pursue strict legal action at the international level against malicious commenters and spreaders of false rumors.
According to media outlet YTN Star on January 8 KST, HYBE Labels recently filed a request with the Argentinian federal court for the preservation of any evidence which may be deemed necessary for forthcoming civil and criminal lawsuits. If approved, this request will ensure that local internet service providers will preserve all registered information pertaining to an individual suspected of persistently spreading malicious and false rumors about HYBE Labels artists.
Previously, HYBE Labels worked with the California district court in the U.S. to obtain identifying information about a malicious slander suspect. Confirming that the suspect was based in Argentina, the entertainment agency then proceeded with preliminary steps to pursue civil and criminal lawsuits at the local level in Argentina.
The individual is believed to have posted over 3,000 malicious posts on the social networking platform X since March of 2025, targeting HYBE Labels and BeLift Lab artists with content such as "HYBE illegally acquired Min Hee Jin's past KakaoTalk messages", "HYBE is colluding behind the scenes with the judge to sway the court rulings in their favor", etc.
