1. LOONA's meaning

Maybe assume that LOONA is simply a different way of spelling 'Luna,' however, LOONA fans understand that the Korean version of LOONA's name, "??? ??," translates to "Girl of the Month." This explains why their label chose to release the name and song of one of the members each month. In Latin, Luna means the moon and in mythology, it is the name of Artemis the moon goddess. Using the Korean consonants ?????, it is rearranged to spell LOO??.

2. The Basement

It's an ongoing joke and unfortunate truth that fans want to break LOONA out of their shackles in BlockBerry Creative's basement. Due to their long-awaited debut finally being just around the corner, we can't say we blame LOONA fans for feeling anxious about the final push towards being an active girl group.

3. LOONA o'clock

All LOONA stans should know about LOONA o'clock! LOONA typically posts at 12AM KST or 12PM KST, so domestic fans have dubbed the time LOONA o'clock as there seems to always be an update during those two timeslots. Fans overseas have adjusted LOONA o'clock to their own time zones to keep up with the group.

4. GRIMES

Elon Musk's ever-popular goth girlfriend and avant-garde music artist GRIMES lended her talent on LOONA/yyxy's 'love4eva'. This iconic border-breaking collaboration is a favorite song and piece of must-know info about the group.

5. 4K Colorful Sparkling

Kim Lip's teaser image was absolutely stunning. Until the fandom found out that she was just posing in front of a white wall and staff had searched "4K Colorful Sparkling" on YouTube and projected the video onto her for the picture. Oh, well. Kim Lip is still our crush!

6. Who is Stan Loona?

Fans of LOONA have taken to the streets yelling "Stan LOONA" in an effort to garner more attention to the group and speed the process of official debut up. It's gotten so widespread that people are mistakenly assuming that Stan Loona is a person! Even celebrities and random netizens are proudly exclaiming STAN LOONA (and we agree)!

7. We're going into ORBIT!

LOONA recently revealed their official fan club name as ORBIT. Now, whenever LOONA does something positive, the fans proudly exclaim, "We're going into ORBIT!"
