Rookie boy group Alpha Drive One is preparing to meet fans in Japan with a special showcase event.
Members Rio, Junseo, Arno, Gunwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anshin, and Sanghyun will hold the “ALPHA DRIVE ONE THE 1ST MINI ALBUM ‘EUPHORIA’ FAN SHOWCASE IN JAPAN” on March 13 KST, celebrating the release of their first mini album 'Euphoria'.
The showcase will mark the group’s first official event in Japan ahead of their formal debut in the country, signaling the start of their broader global activities. Despite not having officially debuted in Japan yet, the event is already drawing strong attention from local fans.
Approximately 1,000 fans are expected to attend the showcase, and dozens of media outlets, including major Japanese publications, have reportedly requested coverage, highlighting the group’s growing recognition in the region.
Earlier this year, Alpha Drive One released their first mini album Euphoria on January 12, achieving notable success in Japan. The album ranked No.3 on both the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking, maintaining a high position on the charts for five consecutive weeks.
The title track Freak Alarm and the pre release track "Formula" also performed well across major streaming platforms such as LINE Music, Rakuten Music, and iTunes, further strengthening the group’s presence in Japan.
International media have also taken notice. U.S. outlet Sweety High described the group as a team “telling the story of an unstoppable race toward the top,” while French K pop magazine K-Pop Mag praised them as rookies who have already left a strong impression on global fans.
Through the upcoming showcase, the group is expected to further strengthen their connection with Japanese fans and expand their growing global presence.
