Actor Kim Nam Gil will lend his support to Ha Jung Woo’s return to television with a special appearance in the tvN drama 'Mad Concrete Dreams.'
The cameo reportedly came together thanks to the long-standing friendship between the two actors. Rather than appearing as a minor background character, Kim Nam Gil will portray a figure who plays a key role in the early development of the story.
Details about his character have also been revealed. Kim Nam Gil will take on the role of Kim Gyun, a violent crimes detective and the brother-in-law of Ki Soo Jong, played by Ha Jung Woo. He becomes involved in helping his brother-in-law, who faces the threat of losing his building.

Newly released still cuts show Ki Soo Jong confiding his concerns to Kim Gyun. Another scene captures the detective seriously investigating a matter related to the unfolding events.
The production team stated, “Kim Nam Gil will make a special appearance from the very first episode and deliver a powerful presence. We are grateful for his passionate performance, which goes beyond what one would expect from a simple cameo.”
Meanwhile, 'Mad Concrete Dreams' follows a struggling building owner who becomes involved in a staged kidnapping to protect both his family and his property. The drama is scheduled to premiere on March 14.
