
Actor Ong Seong Wu made a special appearance in the Netflix series 'Boyfriend on Demand', captivating viewers as a heart fluttering virtual boyfriend.
Released on March 6 KST, the romantic comedy follows webtoon producer Mi Rae, played by Jisoo, who turns to a virtual dating simulation service to subscribe to a boyfriend and experience romance in her otherwise exhausting daily life.
Ong Seong Wu appeared as Bae Hyun Woo, a boyfriend character within the fictional subscription service “Boyfriend on Demand.” In the episode, he portrays a National Intelligence Service agent who secretly infiltrates a plane during a covert operation, instantly raising the tension of the storyline.
His intense action scenes, including taking down terrorists who seized control of the aircraft, heightened the drama’s immersion. At the same time, his gentle moment reassuring Mi Rae in the midst of chaos added a romantic spark that drew viewers in.
The actor also impressed audiences with his sharp visuals and flawless suit styling. Notably, Ong Seong Wu performed the demanding action and shooting scenes himself without a stunt double, once again demonstrating his versatility as an actor.
Despite his brief appearance, Ong Seong Wu left a strong impact, showcasing his ability to bring depth and charm to the character and heightening anticipation for his future projects.
