EXO member Sehun recently sparked lively discussion among fans after sharing an idea for a potential fan meeting through the fan messaging platform Bubble.
Sehun reached out to fans for advice while brainstorming an event concept involving a meal at Haidilao.
“I have a concern these days,” he wrote. “If we eat at Haidilao hotpot, do we need to reserve the restaurant and invite everyone? Or should it just be a small group of about three to five people?”
He continued by explaining his reasoning for keeping the gathering small. “But we need to do a small group so that I can personally make the sauce for you guys,” he added. “If we reserve the whole restaurant, we won’t really get to enjoy the food. I’m just going to do what I want.”
The suggestion quickly spread across online communities, where fans reacted with a mix of amusement, disbelief, and playful frustration. Many pointed out that being one of only a handful of attendees would be nearly impossible, comparing the chances to winning the lottery.
Some fans joked that they would be too nervous to eat if they were seated at the same table as their favorite idol.
