On August 11, Juniel appeared on 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time' and revealed how she came to write her recent song "Last Carnival".

The singer-songwriter revealed "Last Carnival" was written based on an experience she faced herself. The song is about dating violence in romantic relationships. She said, "At first, I didn't start with the mind I was going to write it in this particular way. The melody first came out, then the lyrics. As I was writing, I realized that I was writing while crying."
She continued, "I thought it would be able to comfort those who are hurting, and it was also a chance to create an awareness of how serious dating violence really is."
