EXID's Hani shared her teenage story on KBS 2TV 'Hello'.

On the episode that aired on the 8th, Hani mentioned, "My mom is really strict and there was a time when I was a rebellious teen during junior high school."

The idol singer went on to explain, "When I shouted to my mom, 'What did you do for me?' My mom yelled, 'How dare you talk back to me like that?'. She was mixing bibimbap with a wooden spoon, and she hit me with it."

Hani then said, "I am very thankful for that.  It's one of the reasons why I didn't end up becoming any worse than I was back then," causing the audience to laugh out loud.

That's how we disciplined the dog. Because a dog is not a person.

As the oldest in the family, I got disciplined a lot because I did a lot of stupid stuff. I'm thankful for that because I would've been worse. T_T

For the love of G! AKP please fix your title! I was thinking what does she know when she hasn't tried having a teenager yet and after reading the effin' "article" I was like "WTF?! she talkin' bout an incident that has happened between her and her mom!"

You just beat them until they're done with their shit or until you get exhausted.

I think its also depends on how she was brought up back then and her personality if she was more rebellious, she could have left home in anger and turned to violence. but i guess her upbringing since young taught her to fear her parents and respect them. that is why there is a proverb (recently also appeared in "Ask me Anything" when they tried to draw it), that it say "Habits formed at 3 years old, will last until you are old", so from the age of 3 the basic foundation of respect for elders and such should be taught and enforced already.

yup im from south asian and we have the same thinking how the way a child is groomed in the first 4 yrs of its life, that is pretty much how they will remain nature wise. im spoiled but my niece is a whole other level of spoiled. like i can discipline by sisters kids, but my brothers kids, my sis-in-law minds that more and its not just my fam, there are many ppl who feel more comfortable at their own sisters house vs, ur bros house because the SIL has her own rules and how she wants to run things (which is only fair). im just not for parents who knowingly let their kids hit bite them and try and be rational about it as if the kid is an adult and knows you have some agreement. shes 2 bro give her a time out or a spanking or something.
