The members of VANNER will be going their separate ways following the group's departure from their agency, KLAP Entertainment.
On August 22 KST, the group's leader Taehwan notified fans of VANNER's future plans via the team's official fan cafe.
Taehwan wrote,
"Hello, this is VANNER's Taehwan.
I thought a lot before bringing up this story.
I knew VVS were waiting for news from VANNER and were worried, so my heart felt heavy.
I was really concerned that bringing this up might hurt our VVS.
But since I felt our fans should know, I've decided to share.
Even before our contracts concluded, the five of us talked a lot about VANNER's future.
But realistically, due to various circumstances, all five of us couldn't come together as one.
We agreed that if one day we could gather again and be together, we would discuss it then. For now, each of us intends on supporting one another in our new challenges.
We are well aware that this might be disappointing to our fans, so we spent a long time contemplating it.
It's hard to find words that can offer comfort. Still, this was not an easy decision for any of us, so I hope it will not hurt you too much.
We're not sure yet how or in what way we'll appear in front of VVS, but this is about as much as I can say for certain right now.
I'm sorry I couldn't talk about it sooner. Imagining the day that we meet VVS again, I'll work on improving myself where I fall short, and return to the stage before long.
I miss you so much and I love you."
Meanwhile, VANNER parted ways with both their original agency, VT Entertainment, and their new management, KLAP Entertainment, simultaneously on May 31, 2025. Member Sungkook is currently carrying out his mandatory military service duties, and Youngkwang is set to follow suit on September 4.
