G-Dragon has once again showcased his generosity, this time extending his signature “flex” beyond his dancers to his security team.
On August 23, a video was uploaded to G-Dragon’s secondary account with the caption: “G-Dragon Protector flex is insane.”
The video shows the artist at a Swiss luxury watch boutique, personally handing out timepieces to his bodyguards. The brand featured is the same one G-Dragon collaborated with for the limited-edition “Astronomia G-Dragon Watch,” released earlier this year. Only eight pieces were produced worldwide, each valued at around 1.6 billion KRW (approx. $1.2 million), making headlines for its rarity and staggering price tag.
This comes shortly after G-Dragon gifted luxury jewelry to his backup dancers. In a previously released video, dancers wearing “I ♥ GD” T-shirts were seen receiving jewelry cases one by one. The accessories were identified as part of a collaboration between his own brand, PEACEMINUSONE, and a global jewelry label. The collaborative necklace, priced at 1.65 million KRW (approx. $1,200), is believed to be the gift inside the cases.
Fans and netizens alike praised the star for looking after those who support and protect him, describing his thoughtful gestures as “heartwarming flexes.”
Meanwhile, Big Bang, which debuted in 2006 with members G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri, and T.O.P, continues activities as a three-member group following the departures of Seungri and T.O.P due to personal controversies.
