Park Mi Sun revealed to be taking a break from entertainment activities following breast cancer diagnosis

According to an exclusive media outlet report on August 22 KST, comedian Park Mi Sun is currently receiving treatment for early stage breast cancer.

Around the beginning of 2025, Park Mi Sun abruptly cancelled the bulk of her schedules and began an extended break from her entertainment activities. She even opted out of a couples' variety program she was scheduled to film with her husband Lee Bong Won and the comedian couple Choi Yang Rak and Paeng Hyun Sook despite her previous enthusiasm for the project. 

Then, during a guest appearance on MBC's 'Radio Star' in June, Park Mi Sun's husband Lee Bong Won updated viewers on the comedian's whereabouts. He said, "She is doing well with her treatment. She's taking this opportunity to get some much needed rest." 

Now, according to insiders, Park Mi Sun is currently focusing on treatment for her early stage breast cancer. She had hoped to keep her diagnosis a secret from the public, but due to the rampant rumors about both her physical and mental health, she has decided to speak up. 

In fact, Park Mi Sun is doing well with her treatment and is even comforting and reassuring her family members and close friends.
