F.T. Island's Choi Minhwan (32) will perform in front of fans in Korea for the first time in approximately a year, following his "prostitution controversy".
From August 23-24, F.T. Island plan to hold their 2025 concert, '2025 F.T. Island LIVE - Mad Happy', at the Seoul Yongsan-gu Bluesquare SOL Travel Hall. Previously, FNC Entertainment confirmed that "Lee Hongki, Lee Jaejin, and Choi Minhwan will perform at this concert," suggesting Choi Minhwan's full return to activities with F.T. Island.
Back in October of last year, Choi Minhwan's ex-wife Yulhee accused the drummer of soliciting prostitution from adult entertainment establishments during their marriage. Following the accusations, the police launched an investigation into the case, but went on to drop charges against Choi Minhwan due to "lack of evidence". Afterward, Choi Minhwan began resuming his activities with F.T. Island in March of this year during the group's Japan tour.
Meanwhile, F.T. Island will be performing in front of their Korean fans for the first time in approximately a year, since the '2024 F.T. Island LIVE - Pulse' in June of 2024.
