Kang Dong Ho or NU'EST's Baekho failed to satisfy Kahi on 'Produce 101' season 2.

Kahi took charge of teaching the 'D' rank group on the April 14 broadcast. Among the trainees in 'D' rank was Kang Dong Ho, who used to be Kahi's labelmate at Pledis.

Unfortunately, Kang Dong Ho kept making mistakes during practice. Kahi couldn't help but criticize Kang Dong Ho, saying, "Dong Ho, why are you so slow?" Fellow NU'EST members who saw Kang Dong Ho's unsatisfactory performance, commented, "I hope he does well... It's unfortunate."

Kang Dong Ho also depressingly commented, "It's not going well as I wanted. I'm feeling a lot of pressure. I'm intimidated."

However, Kahi strictly said, "There are a lot of trainees who have never even debuted. I hope he receives a positive motivation from them. But honestly, I'm disappointed."

Kahi is hard on everyone, even AS back in the day. She pushes others the way she pushes herself. She's not being evil or rude.

He looks so worn out :<

why are u making him feel more worthless then ever? He's already feeling bad n is trying to get back up on his feet again. At least give some confidence, try saying "try more harder, practice more" n stop comparing him from the other trainers, your making him feel more worse than ever.

I'm sorry, but even if they weren't as successful as the company would want them to be, sending them to P101 was a really bad move. Like they are taking all the credibility and accomplishments they have earned over the last years by making them compete with trainees. They are depicted as losers and everyone pities them for having to go through this show 5 years after their debut. This won't make them popular, I think it will hurt their image and their credibility as artists. I'm so sorry for them, because their last mini-album was really really good imo :(

I make this face at least once every day

comment of the month right there lol

I understand her somewhat but even still she is much harder on Nu'est then others. I think that the judges should give them a fair chance and stop trying to make them feel worthless. They really aren't as bad as the judges make them sound!

I have such a man crush on him I think he's beautiful! Kahi is trying to push him to his limit she knows he is good! Sometimes you have to break someone down for them to find that confidence.  Right now I think nu'est as a whole is feeling pressured but this will help them become even better I hope!

It must be such an awkward situation for them. Kahi having left Pledis together with SonDamBi bc the label(which they both cofound) sucks and is incompetent to promote its artists has to now mentor her former label's artists who also suffer from the incompetence of Pledis and even worse, sends a 5year old group into a show that trains out rookies to be idols. They are already titled as "losers" and looked down upon by the Korean society that views this show and listens to kpop. What the hell is the CEO of Pledis hoping to achieve by doing this??? I guess since NU'EST members contracts are expiring soon he wants to make sure they have no future or courage to show up in public anymore...

I can see why. She's being very objective and giving constructive criticism, which is what she should be doing and she's a good mentor. I'm sure Dongho is talented, it's just that the peer pressure of doing it again and with everyone having that mindset of him like "Oh he's 5 years our senior so he HAS to be way better and more professional than us", that's not the case. I hope he overcomes his fears so that he can perform better and showcase his true potential. I really hope the 4 NU'EST members end up in the top 11, it's a lot to ask but I really want to see all of them get a 2nd chance to succeed.

Maybe KAHI seems a bit 'evil' or 'hard hearted' in all of this with NU'EST Group members. But keep in mind that PD101-2 is a 'Reality' TV Show. Meaning that SOME of the 'interaction' that you see it is 'rigged' a bit by the PRODUCERS of the TV Show. In order to make the show *interesting* to VIEWERS. As to how and when this happens, no idea here. One 'take' that I have it, is that IF say *all* the NU'EST members were at the TOP of the RANKINGS ; then viewers would be commenting that it is UNFAIR that an *already* debuted Group was allowed to participate. WHEREAS, having the NU'EST members FAIL *early* in the show ; creates the 'pressured and choking' story line. And can the NU'EST members 'get it together' and 'make a comeback' (suspense). And KAHI becomes the 'Tough Straight Talking Bish' who 'Tells It Like It Is' with NU'EST Group. Even though KAHI has 'sympathy' for them. These are fairly standard *strategies* to get VIEWERS *involved* in paying attention and *caring* about what happens ... (Added: THANKS for the UP VOTES that I got them!)

KAHI becomes the SIMON COWELL ('AMERICAN IDOL' TV Show) judge of the PD101-2 TV Show, if you will. AMERICAN IDOL TV Show (COWELL) --> ... https://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Simon_Cowell

Definitely agree. One example on a recent show I can remember is Wonho on "No Mercy." The judges/mentors criticized him left and right while praising others much more. Fast forward to today, Wonho is a member of MONSTA X. And that's just one example too. So the show will definitely create storylines like that.
