Joo Won has announced his enlistment date.
Previously, reports stated that Joo Won is enlisting in the military on May 16. The actor's label Huayi Brothers clarified that he is scheduled to enlist in May but the date has not been confirmed.

Several days later on April 14, a rep from Huayi Brothers confirmed that Joo Won is indeed enlisting on May 16.
Joo Won will be going through 5 weeks of training at Korea Army Training Center and officially start his 21-month service.
Upcoming SBS drama 'My Sassy Girl' starring Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo, which was completed in pre-filming, will start airing after Joo Won leaves for the military.
