A clip of a fan event Jessica attended is going around, raising fans' suspicions that perhaps Jessica is being stopped from going on music shows. She recently returned with a lovely winter track "Wonderland," her second solo release since leaving Girls' Generation but has yet to promote on Korean shows.
During the Q&A session in the event, Jessica reads a question on a post-it and then tries to put it back, looking uncomfortable. The MC asks her why, wondering aloud if she can't answer the question. She hurriedly insists that she can.

The question asks, "Don't you want to go on music shows?" and she replies vaguely, "About music shows... um... I do want to go on music shows," with an affirmative nod. She then wondered with a hint of concern, "Would you be able to understand if I say it like that...?"
Fans are jumping to the conclusion that she is suggesting the same thing is happening to her that happened to JYJ when they broke from TVXQ and SM Entertainment - that her former agency has blacklisted her from music shows so she can't make appearances.
Fans wrote, "From what I can understand, that there are some parties who are preventing Jessica to perform on music show. that fact makes me sick and sad at the same time :(," "Sica's answer was very vague, to be honest.
