New images of ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo have emerged from the Republic of Korea Army Training Center, drawing attention from fans. Posted on August 13 KST under the “Trainee Sketch” section of the center’s official website, the photos show Cha standing in formation with a sharp gaze, a slightly tanned complexion, and a disciplined demeanor. Even in uniform, his well-defined features drew admiration.
Cha Eun Woo enlisted on July 28, entering the Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province. After completing basic training, he will serve in the Army Band. The day before enlistment, he revealed his freshly cropped hair during a livestream, calling it the shortest cut since he was two or three years old. He admitted feeling strange seeing himself in the mirror but expressed curiosity and optimism about entering his 30s during military service, wishing his fans luck and promising to return well.
Debuting in 2016 with ASTRO after his 2014 film appearance in 'My Brilliant Life', Cha has also built a successful acting career with works like 'My ID Is Gangnam Beauty', 'True Beauty', and 'Wonderful World'.
