Actress Kim Hye Soo has given fans a peek into the final day of filming for 'The Second Signal,' the long-awaited sequel to the hit drama 'Signal.'
On August 12, Kim posted a photo on her social media without any caption. The image showed a lunch box she received on set, complete with a sandwich, fruit, cookies, and other desserts. What caught the eye was a sticker on the lunch box featuring the show’s title, 'The Second Signal.' Earlier, she had also shared images of a cake and a walkie-talkie decorated with the same title.
A production representative had confirmed on August 11 that filming for the series would wrap up that day. Kim’s post, which appeared to show gifts from the last day on set, conveyed her affection for the project.
Originally aired in 2016, tvN’s 'Signal' became a critically acclaimed crime thriller, connecting detectives from the present and the past through mysterious walkie-talkie transmissions to solve long-unsolved cold cases. Written by acclaimed screenwriter Kim Eun Hee, known for 'Sign' and 'Kingdom,' the series was praised for its gripping narrative and emotional depth.
Nearly a decade later, news of a sequel generated intense anticipation among fans. Filming for 'The Second Signal' began in February this year and wrapped after approximately six months. The series will now move into post-production.
