Recently, online communities have been buzzing over the appearance of singer-actor Cha Eun Woo’s younger brother on tvN’s variety show 'You Quiz on the Block.'
The episode featuring Cha Eun Woo’s sibling aired on June 11. It centered on Oh Chang Gyu, who went from being a semiconductor company vice president to an intern in a real-life version of the movie The Intern.
In one brief scene, lasting only about four seconds, employees are seen walking in a line. Among them, viewers quickly noticed a man identified as Cha Eun Woo’s younger brother. Even in the slightly blurry footage, his facial features, body type, and proportions closely resembled those of Cha Eun Woo, capturing immediate attention.
Netizens reacted enthusiastically, leaving comments such as, “I wonder what kind of parents raised two sons like this,” “Wow, it’s like seeing another Cha Eun Woo,” “Amazing genes,” “They look exactly alike,” “And he’s not even a celebrity?” and “Those coworkers must be jealous.”
Cha Eun Woo himself had previously appeared on 'You Quiz on the Block' in May of last year, where he discussed his younger brother and even shared photos of him. At the time, his brother was a student in China majoring in Journalism and Broadcasting. Cha Eun Woo recalled, “My brother once said he wanted to beat me at least once. But I’ll never lose to him,” sharing a playful anecdote about their sibling rivalry.
The Cha family had also made headlines last December on tvN’s 'Rented in Finland,' where Cha Eun Woo’s mother and brother briefly appeared on screen.
With both Cha Eun Woo and his younger brother now featured on 'You Quiz on the Block,' fans are once again captivated by the siblings’ remarkable visual appeal, highlighting a family of true “face geniuses.”
