Koyote member Shinji gave a careful response when asked about her upcoming wedding plans with singer Moon Won.
On August 13, Shinji appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM’s Park Myung soo’s Radio Show alongside fellow Koyote members Kim Jong min and Baekga.
During the broadcast, DJ Park Myung soo asked, “Are you preparing well for the wedding?” to which Shinji simply replied, “Well… that’s still a long way off.”
When Park asked if he could sing at her wedding, Shinji laughed and said, “Why do you keep trying to sing at weddings?” He then jokingly pressed, “Can’t you at least say you’ll consider it?” and Shinji playfully replied, “Okay, I’ll consider it.” Park humorously thanked her, noting, “Jong min and Jo Se ho both said ‘no,’ so thank you for leaving the door open.”
Later in the broadcast, Baekga accidentally mentioned SBS instead of KBS, prompting a humorous reaction from Park. Shinji diffused the moment by saying, “No need to be sensitive. Park Myung soo’s Radio Show is the best.” Park responded, “Shinji, I’ll give a big congratulatory gift.”
In June, Shinji announced her engagement to singer Moon Won, who is seven years younger and has a daughter from a previous marriage. The news sparked mixed reactions from fans, especially after details of Moon Won’s personal life were revealed.
Reflecting on the public attention, Shinji said, “It made me realize once again how much love I’ve received over the past 27 years. It reminded me to live with even more responsibility.”
Meanwhile, Koyote released a new single, Call Me, on August 6. The group described the song as a “new genre called RE-DM,” blending retro and EDM elements.
