
Actor Park Seo Joon celebrated his 14th debut anniversary by giving back through a generous act of kindness.
On August 12 KST, Park shared on Instagram, “Giving back the love I’ve received in celebration”, along with a photo confirming his donation. The image revealed that he contributed ₩100 million KRW (approximately $73,000 USD) to Samsung Medical Center to support treatment for pediatric cancer patients.
Samsung Medical Center expressed their gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank you for delivering this warmhearted donation. We will repay your kindness by working toward the health and happiness of our patients.”
Park Seo Joon debuted in 2011 through the music video for Bang Yong Guk’s 'I Remember' and has since become one of Korea’s leading actors. Commemorating the milestone, he wrote on Instagram, “I sincerely thank everyone who congratulated me. Back then, I was young; now I’m still maturing. I hope this journey continues ‘ing.’”
Meanwhile, Park has chosen JTBC’s upcoming drama 'Waiting for Kyung Do' as his next project. The romantic comedy follows Lee Kyung Do (Park Seo Joon) and Seo Ji Woo (Won Ji An), who dated twice—once at age 20 and again at 28—before parting ways. They unexpectedly reunite years later as the reporter behind a scandal article and the wife of the man at the center of the scandal. The drama is scheduled to air later this year.
