Over the weekend we quietly released a new feature called "My Feed" on the site. Some of you may have already seen it, but for those of you that haven't, here you go!

We know sometimes there are just too many stories to sift through, and nobody wants information overload. This new feature should be able to help you find the stories that are most relevant to you, so that you can quickly read them and interact with other K-POP fans that share the same interests as you.

So how does this work?

As you read stories on the site and "Heart" them, our algorithm will be able to learn more about your preferences and provide you with a quick list of stories that are most relevant and interesting to you. The more hearts you click, the better our algorithm will be able to understand and determine your preferences, so whenever you like a story, make sure to click that "Heart"!

Once you start clicking the Heart icon on stories that you like, we will start gathering the information and prepare your personalized News Feed. To view your personalized news feed, just click the "My Feed" tab on the homepage.

That's pretty much it! For this feature to work however, you will have to login or register for an account if you don't already have one. You can register for an account here.

We are also working on creating a "Default Tab" feature, which will roll out fairly soon. Once this rolls out, you will be able to set your default tab to whichever you prefer, whether it be "The Latest", "Trending" or the new "My Feed" tab. Enjoy and let us know what you think in the comments below!

This doesn't really have to do with this new feature... but I was wondering why my notifications (options at the top right of this site) they won't show up unless I let the page load in another tab. If I stay on the tab while it loads, I don't get the options. Why is this?

Press F12, go to Console, write: loadDeferredStyles() and then press return. I guess there are problems with an add-on (Adblock?).

LOVE IT now the site can cater to my hearts desire of seeing the slow painful downfall of Taeyrant

fairypanda Tuesday, August 30, 2016

so if its about murder etc, we'd like to read it but our heart too weak to press love?

charlie_d Tuesday, August 30, 2016

GREAT! So I don't have to read the news about mistreated animals and beaten persons, THANK YOUUUU!

I feel like it'd be nicer if you could just let us tell you what tags we want to see. Not only would we get to actually tell you want we want to see (without having to "heart" bad news if that's what you're into), but we wouldn't have to rely on an algorithm that not even Facebook or Youtube can properly implement. You guys aren't bigger or better than them and *they* can't do "we think you'll like this" properly. You feel me?

This so much. Just let us pick tags for crying out loud...

but sometimes i read the article but i don't "heart" them because i don't like the content of the article. For example the "fans stalk & follow sm artists during their vacation" article. i don't like what the fans did so i don't "heart" the article but i'm interested to read the article. does that make this kinda articles won't appear in my feed?

johnny epilicious Tuesday, August 30, 2016

We understand what you are saying, but the heart isn't so much as to say that you "love" or "agree" with it, it's more of a measure of what types of articles you want to see.

So its kinda what twitter and instagram do where they tailor tweets and photos to what you like. Idk personally I'm not that into it but whatever
